The Beat Daddys

Band Members!

It is indeed an honor to make music with such talented people.  I try to get the "best" when I can. Grammy winner and long time friend Jeff "Stick" Davis is my first choice for bass when I'm lucky enough to catch him taking a break from his other gigs and sessions. Great guitarists that lend their talents on any given night may include Fred James, Britt Meacham, Pat Morley, Steve Byam, all legends among their peers. Bryan Owings ( Delbert McClinton, Buddy Miller, Emmylou Harris) is first call on drums when he is available. Other drummers such as David Parks (LoCash Cowboys), Waldo LaTowsky, Danny Erkman, Wayne Acton, may be called upon.  Barry Bays, Bobby Summers,  or Dennis Gulley may fill in for Stick on bass.  Then I have my buddies from Dumplin' Valley, TN who call themselves "Grits"! They back me up on shows and I perform with them on some of their shows.  Mark Havely on drums, Eddie Blackwell on guitar, and Joe Cruz on bass.

Me and my good friends "Grits", playing in Gatlinburg!
